Rounding out the five-team shortlist for the planned Washington, D.C., museum is Perkins&Will, DLR Group, and Quinn Evans. 

The two planned museums will join Centre Pompidou x Jersey City as the newest satellite locations for the Paris-based modern and contemporary art powerhouse.

The sold-out Record on the Road symposium featured Thomas Phifer, Shohei Shigematsu, and the directors of three leading New York museums. 

Ranking among the largest art museums in the U.S., the Edward Larrabee Barnes–designed DMA will be redesigned and expanded with a focus on accessibility and transparency. 

The ever-evolving Srihatta will open next year with additional contributions from a range of international artists and architects to come.
